"Creed III" is an upcoming American sports drama film directed by Michael B. Jordan, who also stars in the lead role. The movie is the third installment in the "Creed" franchise, which is a spin-off from the popular "Rocky" film series.
The first "Creed" movie, released in 2015, introduced us to Adonis Creed (played by Michael B. Jordan), the son of the late heavyweight boxing champion Apollo Creed. Adonis, who never knew his father, seeks to follow in his footsteps and become a professional boxer. With the help of Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), he trains and eventually fights his way to the top of the sport. The second movie, "Creed II," released in 2018, saw Adonis face off against Viktor Drago, the son of Ivan Drago, the man who killed Apollo Creed in the ring.
In "Creed III," Adonis Creed will face a new opponent, but little is known about the plot of the film. Michael B. Jordan has stated that he plans to explore Adonis' personal life and relationships more in this movie, as well as address some of the social issues facing America today.
